Fairbridge Village

On the 27th -29th October the Pleiter family went to fairbridge to celebrate Mum's birthday. It is a great farm style accomodation which was originally set up in the early 1900's for English ophans to give them a better future. It had its own school, hospital and church most of which is still standing today. We all had a fantastic time! Thanks heaps Mum!

This was the girls house. It sleeps 16 people, needless to say we didn't get much!

Bibbulmun Track

On the 13 of October we went for a 2 day hike on the Bibbulmun Track with the Pleiter Clan. This has become a family tradition which started last year when only the boys went. This year us girls were priveledged enough to be invited along. Due to various circumstances not everyone could make it but the lucky couples were Elton & Chevaunne, Brad & Michelle and Jan & Carla. We started our trek at Sullivan Rock and walked 18 km the first day which included climbing Mount Cooke which gave some great views. We camped at Nerang for the night only to walk another 18 km the next day. We topped off the walk by celebrating with a meal at Jarradale Pub, that is after we limped and struggled to get up the stairs to enter it!!
