A Day in Amsterdam

We went by train from Henk & Haddy. Walked through the city and went to Heineken and Wax museums

Heineken Museum

Madame Tussauds Amsterdam

Boy do they look real, sometimes you don't know who is real or who is a tourist. It seems like they are constantly looking at you.

Groote bloemkole!! For all the Andre van Duin fans

This ones for you Ida

A day out with the Bosman's

They took us to the Delta works, beach, Neeltje Jans museum and through a heap of small towns.

Old church in Veeren

With Henk and Haddie (she is mum's cousin)

I was very suprised by the beaches of Holland. I imagined a small strip of pebbles as the beach but actually as you can see they have very decent beaches (almost like australia but not as good!!)
Had a coffee at a cafe on the beach and the lady who served us looked exactly like my mum. very freaky!! she even dressed the same!
Out for Chinese with Haddie and Henk, they have great chinese food here!

With the Vink Family in Groningen
Annemieke and Bas (Jaap and Wilma's daughter)

Arno and Sjoukje (their son)

Meindert ( youngest son)

Jan with full gear

Wilma and Sjoukje took us out for the day. Were going to go to the Veen Park but accidently went to the Veen museum instead. So we then drove for another 1 1/2 to get to the Veen Park and when we got there it was closed. So altogether we drove about 4 hours and got nowhere. Had fun though and also ended up driving through germany for about 2 minutes.

Jan, Wilma, Sjoukje

We then went to Westerbork, a camp where all the jews were sent to before being sent to Auschwitz etc. Many died here. Also saw the place Anna Frank stayed.
