Went to the D Day beaches in Normandy - bunkers are scattered all along the coast

American cemetery, over 9000 crosses, joined a really interesting english tour, saw the Niland brothers crosses (saving private ryan), met a veteran who told us his involvment in the war, he got very emotional, very moving experience
